1970s Pharaoh Ceramic Table Lamp
1970s Pharaoh Ceramic Table Lamp
This Egyptian inspired lamp consists of a white Pharaoh’s bust with gold plated detailing. The Pharaoh's bust brings to mind the Egyptian revival of the Art Deco period; an era which came about due to the sheer amount of Egypt exhibitions throughout the 1960s and 1970s in Europe. Although this specific bust is a more minimal version than many of this period, it still echoes the elaborate splendour of the Pharaohs. The death mask which dominates the bust is decorated with 24k gold-plated striped details, and is topped by the brass fitting for the light bulb.
The lamp is currently wired for EU plug sockets, but we can change this if required depending on the buyer’s location. Please note that the shades are for display purposes only – however we can point you in the right direction of a suitable shade should you need it.
