Arturo Pani (Mexican, 1915–1981) the "Decorator to the Mexican Elite", was a pioneering interior decorator and industrial designer of the early 20th century. His first major project, the renovation of Hotel Reforma in Mexico City, became a symbol of the Mexican Modernism Movement. His distinctive style, often referred to as the "Acapulco Look," gained widespread recognition. Pani's renowned firm, Studio Arturo Pani SA, was one of the most prestigious design studios in Mexico City during the Mid-Century and through the 1970s. Today, Pani's work is collected worldwide.
