Field Marshal With Monocle Painting, 1990s
Field Marshal With Monocle Painting, 1990s
An enigmatic and striking oil on canvas portrait painting in great detail depicting a strict fictional Field Marshal character of the 1910s-20s. The field Marshal on this painting wears a decorated uniform and a monocle on a closed eye making it somehow ironic but also empowered and imposing.
The frame itself is an original victorian gypsum frame that has gone through some rough periods but now it found its place framing this portrait. Although it can seem scary to some it is actually a fun artwork to have around sparkling conversation.
An excellent painting to impress your circle of friends either for a manhole or your office or a hotel area.
