Iridescent Ceramic Table Lamp
Iridescent Ceramic Table Lamp
This alluring table lamp originates from the late 1970s, and is believed to have originated in the south of Italy. Composed entirely of ceramic, the vase-shaped base was dipped in to an iridescent paint mix before being glazed and hardened in the kiln – the effect, a gorgeous oil-like finish, as captivating as it is unique. The effect is not too dissimilar to the works of Johann Loetz Witwe, the Austrian glass manufacturers. The piece is finished by rings of 24-karat gold, providing a regal touch to the light.
Please note that the shade is for display purposes only. However, if you require help looking for a lampshade, we can gladly point you in the right direction. The lamp is currently wired for EU plug sockets, but we can change this if required depending on the buyer’s location.
