Postmodern Chrome and Glass Coffee Table by Leon Rosen for Pace
Postmodern Chrome and Glass Coffee Table by Leon Rosen for Pace
A stunning post-modern chrome and glass coffee table, by Leon Rosen for Pace Collection. The piece, takes its cues from the structural expressionism architectural movement reminiscent of bold buildings of the era. It consists of an interlocking chrome bars and pipe base, the four chrome pillars that sit on disk like feet are joined in a criss-cross pattern by two thin chrome slats into which a pane of clear square glass rests. The glass top is capped with the circular chrome fittings which follow the shape of the curved glass top.
Designed in USA in the late 1970s and imported into the UK sometime in the 1980s, this coffee table is more intricate than other pieces by Leon Rosen but still bears all his signature characteristics. This coffee table is adaptable and it would fit perfectly in a minimal and modern interior as well as into a more cosy boho style home.
