Robert Falcucci Portrait Painting
Robert Falcucci Portrait Painting
A bold brushed portrait painting of Monet by Robert Falcucci, painted in the 1920s. Homage to an artist. Titled and signed on the back of the canvas.
Robert Falcucci is mainly famous for his graphic design work from the Art Deco period. The posters for the Monaco Grand Prix, as well as his work with the trains, are highly collectable and auction for prices around £15,000. He may have mastered the graphics, but he was also an excellent painter with a very distinctive style: cloudy and colourful - rather contrasting to his bold statement graphic lines.
