Roger Vanhevel Chrome and Mirror Coffee Table
Roger Vanhevel Chrome and Mirror Coffee Table
This Roger Vanhevel coffee table is a sleek, modern piece that would zhuzh up any interior with its minimal lines and low-slung top. On top of a black laminate wooden pedestal sits a chrome and a stepped brass rectangular frame, inside which fits a pane of smoked glass – with a slight orange tint. This piece has its origins in Belgium in the 1970s, and the glamour of the era really comes through the table's sleek appearance.
The condition is good for an item of this vintage –- the mirrored top has some discolouration, and there is some scratches and patina in the chrome, as you can see from the pictures. The wooden base has a small dent in the corner, but you can't see the once the coffee table is in situ.
